- Color
- Light, almost straw colored
- Nose
- Smooth, citrus and vanilla... fresh. It also has hints of something medicinal, but not like an Islay. It's a neat numbing pleasant aroma that blends well with the others. After a long nosing, I start to get some spice (not like chili peppers, but like nutmeg or clove or the like).
- Body
- Light and smooth
- Palate
- This one surprises me significantly for the price. It is quite smooth, and warm. Flowers and citrus with wafting hints of caramel and vanilla.
- Finish
- Long warm and pleasant... no bitterness.
I enjoyed this very much... especially for the price (as always, my scoring is completely independent of the price). This one is certainly worth trying, and I would have guessed it a Speyside before a Highland. I may have mentioned it's smooth. If you want smoke get yourself something else. If you want a smooth, semi-sweet, and all around pleasant Whisky this one is a fine choice.

- Color
- Light, warm honey
- Nose
- Vanilla, a bit of raisin, very fruity and perhaps a bit of wood (oak?).
- Body
- Medium and very creamy.
- Palate
- There is a quite dominant but light smoke, lemon, fruit, vanilla (less than in the nose), a little sweetness, and a nice melon flavour (honey melon).
- Finish
- A medium long finish with lemon. The before dominant smoky flavour is only barely niticable, which gives a nice and light finish. There is also a darker taste that I cannot identify.
Very lovely and complex whisky, lots of fruit, a little sweetness and light smoke. Really a delicate Scotch. I usually prefer smoky, peaty island/islay whiskies like Lagavulin, but this is really something special, and much more interesting than your normal Dalwhinnie 15 or Glenfiddich 15. All in very rewarding, and though it is a bit hard to find (impossible here in Denmark) it comes at a bargain price.

- Color
- Amber - yellow
- Nose
- Slightly citrus
- Body
- Smooth. Fairly light.
- Palate
- Peppery with a hint of licorice. Citrus. Not at all peaty.
- Finish
- Very long finish. Still peppery.
A very interesting whisky, rather different from those I usually drink. I like the very long finish, but I'm not sure I'd buy it again, given the less peaty flavor.
