The Legendary Irish Whiskey is triple distilled, then matured slowly in oak casks to develop its rich, mellow taste.

A whiskey that lacks character, but doesn't suffer by it. This is Irish Whiskey.

    Color
    Pale yellow.
    Nose
Oak, slight caramel and just a bit earthy.
    Body
    Very thin legs and watery.
    Palate
Lighter wood, sweet flower malt, benzine, a bit of menthol.
    Finish
Short and a bit sweetish. Not so warming.

Although not too unpleasant (except benzine notes in flavor) it is very watery and lack some stronger character. Not good as I read here.

    Color
    Gold / Amber
    Nose
Cream, quickly followed by subtle vanilla notes and hazelnuts.
    Body
Syrupy, reminding me of certain liqueurs
    Palate
Chocolate-pie with honey, vanilla again, ripe fruits, plums. One for the sweet-toothed among us. Creamy.
    Finish
Sticks around for a while, and takes off swiftly. Dry feel.

Notes are so slight. This makes a good session drink though, and it's a real bargain too.

    Color
    A pale amber
    Nose
    Alcohol, charred wood
    Body
    Full bodied
    Palate
Spices, slight lemon taste, malt, wood.
    Finish
Smooth finish. When mellowed over ice cubes or with a little water added in you can really taste the subtle flavors in the finish.

I enjoyed this whiskey. Great value for the price.

    Color
    Whisky Amber
    Nose
    Citrus and caramel.
    Body
    Moderately viscous. Grainy smooth mouthfeel.
    Palate
Fusel oils, salted nuts and a dull orange note
    Finish
Short finish, a little warm, dominated by buttery overtone.

This is a better than expected Irish. The price point had me expecting harshness, but it is grainy smooth. There doesn't seem to be much malt content. Pleasant to drink and easy on the wallet.
