The Glenlivet 18 is a Single Malt Scotch whisky which has a sweet floral fragrance. It is distilled twice in copper pot stills and then aged in oak casks for 18 years. The Glenlivet is a single malt to savor straight up, on the rocks, or with a splash of pure spring water.

Color: Amber
Nose: Classic Glen Livet nose, lightly aromatic with subtle notes of cereal, raisin and honey suckle
Body: I got a light body from this one with a smooth texture and mouth feel.
Palate: Starts with a lightly sweet fruit syrup then gets drier with toasted cereal and settles in with the spicey vanilla character of the oak dominating.
Finish: medium finish. As the spicey oak fades the sweet fruit syrup comes back to the palate.

Smoother, less astringent than the younger versions. Very likeable
