This award winning Famous Grouse Blended Malt Scotch Whisky 12 years old is created from the finest single malt whiskies including The Macallan and Highland Park, which are left undisturbed for a minimum of 12 years. Only then are they brought together and married in cask, allowing the whiskies extra time to blend together to create an exceptionally smooth and rounded character.

    Color
    medium gold
    Nose
    butter, cinnamon, caramel malt
    Body
    light bodied
    Palate
Strong butter flavor, light spiciness with hints of cinnamon
    Finish
Weak finish- very light and thin. A hint of warmness and prickliness but not much

I've had much better blended malts. The weird butter flavor/taste makes is too big to ignore.

Very good whisky. It dangles on the grainy floural edge but without becoming sour.
