Golden Cask has spent the latter part of its 14 years of maturation in casks that formerly held golden Caribbean rum.

- Noticeable bite, and a somewhat pleasant rum-ish flavor
- Finish
- Short, and unexceptional
Not among my favorites. I really wanted to try the rum cask (17 year), but decided to go with this (a decision I regretted). I would not recommend overall, maybe The Balvenie intended this to be part of a blend, where it could bring a uniqueness to the overall experience.
