Age: 12 Years
Alcohol: 43% abv.

A malt that dares to be truly oaky. Thank heavens for boldness and individuality in a world where blandness is always an easier option. This beautiful old distillery is Chivas showpiece, but it is more than a pretty face.

Color: Amber
Nose: Peat, Gengle
Body: Medium power, but full bodied and wet
Palate: Peat, Lots of oak.
Finish: Long developing into a peppery fade

It took me by surprise by being very much like a well balanced Islay with some extra wood. Well balanced and easy.
