- Nose
- Full nose of Liquorice,hickory and woodsmoke.
- Body
- Medium full bodied and mouth coating.
- Palate
- First taste of strong sour wine and hickory with sweeter attack.
- Finish
- Quite a long finish of liquorice and sweet corn. Nice development.
As a UK resident this was one of my first 'true' Bourbons. Strong robust start but good smoother finish!

- Deep nose of cherries, vanilla, Xmas cake and caramel.
- Body
- Medium full body with slight oil.
- Palate
- First taste of sweet fruit, slight caramel and port wine.
- Finish
- Medium length finish of nutty malt, honey and dried fruit.
A very good rich and well balanced Japanese malt which needs time to grow on you - but worth the wait!

- Nose
- Wonderful nose of heather, honey jam and a wisp of peat smoke.
- Body
- Medium full bodied and quite oily.
- Palate
- Great first taste of honey, smooth spice, low peat and mouth clinging smokiness.
- Finish
- Long warming finish of syrup, spice and peat - with a lingering but not overpowering slight peat smoke. An absolute classic Island malt.
