This was one of the first single malt scotch whiskeys I have ever purchased. I found I really liked it. The taste was not what I expected. I expected an almost bourbon-like sting in my throat, but it was remarkably smooth for my first scotch whiskey. I definately would purchase The Glenlivet 12 year old again.
