- Nose
- Sweet, warmed fruit
- Body
- Full, sharp but smooth. Not very textured.
- Palate
- Complex. Burnt sugar, difficult to pinpoint. Sweet, tangy, flavorful.
- Finish
- Good burn. Warm all the way down. Medicinal. A bit numbing.
A real good bourbon. In my opinion, best enjoyed neat. A good sipper. Probably a great mixer, too.

- Color
- Yellow throughout, hint of amber
- Nose
- Smoke, alcohol dominant, but some peat and earthiness gets through if warm enough.
- Body
- Well balanced & incredibly smooth. Easy drinker.
- Palate
- Mostly smoke and peat, slightly fruity.
- Finish
- Long finish and pleasant burn; salty smoke lingers through and invades the sinuses.
My first review. A great scotch and a fine introduction to the Highland Region. Excellent for it's drinkability, but some may find the peat/smoke overwhelming. A great value in my opinion.
