Johnnie Walker Green Label 15 Years Old
Review by: misterborkColor: Deep straw,
Nose: Ethanol, oak, faint citrus, some peat
Body: Fiery yet full mouth-feel
Palate: Initial fire fades to peat and slight smoke, some sweetness, but mostly a dry shot.
Finish: Long peaty and warm. A head full of vapor and very light smoke.
A very full mouth feel, warm and well-rounded. Nice smoke and peat without being medicinal or tasting like smokehouse almonds. A pleasant blend with a complex taste that develops nicely on the palate.

Review by: misterborkColor: Pale straw
Nose: Light ethanol, not a big nose by any means.
Body: Light and low viscosity. Not syrupy at all. Warm and light.
Palate: Smooth and light with oak hints and very slight hints of honey and clover.
Finish: Slight alcohol burn, fast finish with little to remark on.
This seems to be a whisky that is light in both flavor and color. It is a gentle and subdued dram from the nose to the finish. Not much smoke, oak, or sweetness to taste. A great whisky for a warm spring day.

Review by: misterborkColor: Amber lager
Nose: Ethanol, vanilla, maple sugar
Body: Mildly syrupy
Palate: Scotch followed by a wonderful praline, vanilla, maple syrup, gingerbread cookies
Finish: Sweet, maple syrup, vanilla, bug spray
This is my favorite Irish whiskey. It has a Scotch-like complexity followed by a wonderful maple syrup-like sweetness. Not cloying like a bourbon, but sweet like a gingerbread cookie. A great dessert whiskey. Highly Recommended!
