Tullamore Dew The Legendary Irish Whiskey

    Color
    Pale yellow.
    Nose
Oak, slight caramel and just a bit earthy.
    Body
    Very thin legs and watery.
    Palate
Lighter wood, sweet flower malt, benzine, a bit of menthol.
    Finish
Short and a bit sweetish. Not so warming.

Although not too unpleasant (except benzine notes in flavor) it is very watery and lack some stronger character. Not good as I read here.

    Color
    Light copper.
    Nose
Peat, orange peel, some anise and similar spices.
    Body
Thinner legs, medium bodied and very smooth.
    Palate
Oak wood dominating with some caramel and more subtle spices. Some earth as well. Also a good harsh alcohol bite, hidden by smoothness of the body.
    Finish
Medium long finish, specially wood is felt then. Moderately warming.

Very good bourbon, although quite harsh at moments it's easily drinkable and definitely enjoyable. Also it's quite cheap.

    Color
    Light copper.
    Nose
Oak, some peaches and honey malt.
    Body
Thicker legs falling down unevenly, full bodied but very smooth.
    Palate
Oak, some honey and light smoke, but with some sourish spices. Strange.
    Finish
Quite long and nice honey, very warming but alcohol is gently hidden.

OK, this is the fancy one. Very nice and pleasant for sure, but still not a big improvement from green, although completely different, looks like it misses some stronger character. Could be better for such a fancy thing.

    Nose
Oak, a bit smoky. Interestingly simple.
    Body
    Medium-thick legs, relatively full bodied.
    Palate
Nice oak wood, bit of nuts and cinnamon, a bit fruity (grapefruit and peach). Very warming.
    Finish
Long and pleasant dominated by wood. Hot.

Great blend indeed. Not so old to be too complex yet, but exceptional and pleasant. Pretty fancy though.

    Deep golden.
    Nose
Oak, sherry, some leather or plastic notes, but nothing unpleasant.
    Body
Good medium thick legs, smooth, but watery.
    Palate
Oak, leather, spicy (ginger mostly) and fruity (orange peel and plums). Warming.
    Finish
Medium-long, spicy, a bit salty. Pretty warming

This is my most often choice. It's probably the best in its price category. Simple, but truly nice blend.

    Color
    Full golden.
    Nose
Wood, earthy touch, lot of alcohol, a bit smoky.
    Body
Thicker nice legs, medium body, smooth.
    Palate
Lot of peat, spicey (pine, dirt and damp)
    Finish
Pretty short with peat and quite hot.

Well, what can you expect for that price than cheapish flavor, not completely balanced. It's drinkable, but not particularly enjoyable and still not the worst I've tried.

    Nose
Raisin, dried fruits, sherry like sweetness.
    Body
Medium legs, thinner body and pretty watery.
    Palate
Bad wood like peat, very simple and boring.
    Finish
    Not long, warm, bit dry.

About the worst whisky you can find around here. Cheap simple and not particularly pleasant, although OK. I always choose any other.
