- Heavy peat and smoke, iodine, hint of oranges.
- Body
- Oily and very thick.
- Palate
- Warm and spicy, salt, grass, oak, and slightly orangey. Sits quite high on the palate for how thick it is.
- Finish
- Very warm, long and intense. Initial salt and pepper gives way to a long slow fade of citrus.
One of my favorites! In many ways it's less abrasive while also being more characteristic than its regular 10 year counterpart. I tried it with and without cutting it with water, and it's still fantastic either way.
