Nose: Oak, Alcohol, Some salt, Chocolate
Body: Wet and Oily
Palate: Mild, Tingy bite that diminishes quickly, Caramel flavours.
Finish: Cool and clean. Not terribly fascinating.

It's a nice whisky. I'm not in a real hurry to try it agian though.

Palate: Salt, Peat, Wood smoke, Burning driftwood
Finish: Cool, Long lasting, Astringent flavours throughout, Pleasingly even

I will drink this again. To the mature palate, this is Laphroaig againt for the first time.

Body: Heavy, Dryer
Palate: Oak, Caramely, Sugar, Alcohol
Finish: Long and warming. Not unpleaseant at all.

I really enjoy this whiskey. I would drink it again.

Palate: Caramel, Alcohol, Puckering, Astringent
Finish: Simple, Short, Sours towards the end

The burning from the alcohol really overpowers any flavours.

Nose: Hot, Citrusy
Body: Medium, Sweet
Palate: Tangy, Peat smoke and Sherry in very small amounts.
Finish: A hot finish, mostly in the mouth. Lasts for some time.

Not all that complex. A bit on the sour side, but well balanced, otherwise. More peat and sherry with water.

Nose: Phenol, Rubbing alcohol at full strength.
Body: Thin, for a moment then intensifies. Thickens quickly.
Palate: Bitter, though delicious. Sour, Peat, Salt.
Finish: Long and strong. Takes its time, not that i would want it to hurry.

Watered, Flavours remain, but thinner. Not worth watering. Drink full strength.

Body: Thin. Strange, it feels full, but then it fades away. Still good.
Palate: Peat, Smoke, Salt.
Finish: Sour and good. Short.

Nose: Smoke, Peat, Salt. I'm already satisfied and i haven't even tasted it yet.
Body: Full bodied
Palate: Quickly overpowers the body. A sharp tang, Smoke, Peat... Everything.
Finish: Slowly warming. Lasts forever. Fun, but leaves me wanting more complexity.

Enjoyable. With water, some pale malt sweetness. The aggresive smoke is gone. Still good.

Nose: Sharp, Tart, Citrus.
Body: Thin
Palate: Bitter, Burnt wood, Smoke.
Finish: Long and thin, but good in that all the flavours are represented and last a long time.

I might not drink it again, but it was exciting as it was. Worth tasting.

Nose: Very faint & bitter phenol. Slightly hot.
Body: Medium thickness. Quickly wets the mouth.
Palate: Fainly candy like, Smoke, Peat, The flavour fades quickly.
Finish: Comes on fast, but slows. Long finish. Warmth stays in the skull, not in the body.

Perfectly drinkable. Not overpowering. With water it thinks the flavour, but the peat makes it through nicely. A little bit of pepper watered.

Body: Overshadowed by the sudden surge of burn on the tongue at full strength. Like a bear trap.
Palate: Peat smoke, Beach wood, A warm oily tast that makes me think of dark malts.
Finish: Long, almost an oyster taste. Leaves the tongue numb around the edges full strength.

To date i have not taste a whisky more drinkable lthan this. Powerful and fast like an elegant crockodile.

Nose: Rubbing alcohol. Mustard.
Body: Extremely thin.
Palate: Overpowering taste of alcohol. Hot. Tiny smidgen of smoke.
Finish: Burns the throat and hits the stomach hard. Lasts a long time in the stomach.

I'd drink this if i didn't have anything else to drink. It's not bad, it's not the worst whisky i've ever drank, but it's not the best either. I would not drink to much of it though.

Nose: Fruity. Very soft with almost no burn full strength.
Body: Light. Wet.
Palate: It reminds me of pale malt. It's a sweet and light taste. There's also a bit of a bitterness to it, like eating a dandilion stalk. Probably peat, and lots of it. A little bit salty.
Finish: Comes on really strong but diminishes rapidly. Not warming.

Good for some quick excitement. Might not drink too much of it in one sitting though. Like salty food, best taken in small amounts.

Nose: Incredibly powerful nose. Paint thinner. Burning alcohol. Peat smoke. Beachy. I can smell the ocean.
Body: Thickens rapidly. Medium body. Powerful.
Palate: Grapefruit bitterness. A bit of smoke.
Finish: Comes on rapidly. Long finish. Smoothly down the throat and into the stomach. Like a tidal wave of hot syrup.

In a word, aggressive. Leaves you feeling satisfied. Something you can sip and sit back and enjoy for a long time. Strong alcohol.

Body: Thick and grows thicker.
Palate: Wood smoke. Tangy. High flavour notes.
Finish: Long. Start out slow. Nice and warm in the back of my throat, and the warmness slowly spreads downwards and fades out. Light.

Not offensive. Fun to drink, but not very complex.

Nose: Sweet Mustard, Orange Peel, Sherry.
Body: Heavy, Full Bodied, Viscous.
Palate: Cherry Chocolates, Sherry.
Finish: Long and satisfying, finishing at the tip of the tongue.

This whisky commands your attention. This is not a whisky you could drink all night. It's a cask strength that certainly shows it. Drank neat too quickly, the burn overpowers the flavors.

Palate: Slight butterscotch bitternes. Well balanced, but very subtle.
Finish: Long, but not too strong. Stays on the roof of the mouth.

Very easy drinking. Not exciting, but pleasant.
