    Color
    tad lighter than gold.
    Nose
vanilla, brine, oak, salt air, chocolate covered cherries. peat smoke.
    Body
    slightly heavier body. clingy.
    Palate
peat malt, some smoke, briney. slightly sweet.
    Finish
an evolving finish that uncovers many flavors. not too long.

I know there are a lot of Bunnahabhain 12yr fans out their but this isn't my favorite scotch. still good don't get me wrong but the palate isn't my favorite and can be a bit harsh at times.

    Color
    light straw in color
    Nose
Heavy campfire smoke and peat aroma. strong iodine. Enough to clear a room of non-islay fans. malt and spice. phenolics.
    Body
light with a slight oily mouthfeel. rather dry.
    Palate
lighter flavor than aroma suggests. dark chocolates, spicy peppery notes. vanilla, sea salt, and phenolics. Very well balanced. Slightly sweet towards the end.
    Finish
long lasting spicy yet enjoyable finish.

My favorite Islay scotch so far. very well balanced and very interesting.
