I am a fan of Islay whiskies, so it is no suprise that I enjoyed this offering from Talisker. Very familar to Islay whiskies, but a unique flavor.

Nice example of a Islay Scotch. Fails only when compared to the mighty Laphroaig quarter Cask.

Very enjoyable. I love the natural colour and the tripple cask adds some character. A little too sweet to drink everyday... fine bottle for the price ( but I wish I spent more and got a Laphoraig or Ardbeg)... but we do have to travel off the Island at times!

Drink it neat and you get Alcohol burn... add water and it gets better.
    Palate
    Smokey and sweet
    Finish
warm... actually warms the whole body

As with all the McClellands, the Speyside has a Nice Price, good enough to drink... but you do get what you pay for... in this case, you get a bland wisky with very little character.
