- Color
- light golden,pale
- Nose
- Very subtle, light touch of citrus and vanilla
- Body
- Not really full bodied, but very smooth. A slight nip on the tongue.
- Palate
- Mild oak and smoke, some floral notes and caramel.
- Finish
- A very quick finish, very smooth to the end, with a wisp of wood smoke.
Having tried, and enjoyed the 12 year old, I was anxious to try this one. I was not disappointed. I found this to be very smooth and enjoyable. I could best describe this to be soft and subtle. I would buy this again and not be afraid to serve this to friends.

- Color
- A dark caramel or a medium steeped black tea.
- Nose
- Strong vanilla and some butterscotch hints
- Body
- Very smooth, coats well
- Palate
- Heavy caramel overtones,a bit fiery, possibly from the higher alcohol content. Slightly earthy with wood after.
- Finish
- Very clean, long lasting with a hint of bitter at the very end.
This was bought on a whim, I'd never tried it before and was ready for something different. This indeed provided a change. Very nice whisky. Quite smooth, despite the higher alcohol content. I'd buy it again.

- Color
- Golden amber
- Nose
- Slightly peppery, with hints of vanilla
- Body
- Very thick and syrupy, coats well
- Palate
- Very smooth, pleasant
- Finish
- Not too long lasting. but most enjoyable
My first impression is that this whiskey is very smooth. The first taste rolls across the tongue and then vaporizes, releasing tastes of fresh peaches and berries in a heavy syrup. A slight smokey aftertaste ripe with honey. A most pleasurable experience.

- slight sweetness and a little burn
- Body
- smoooth, a nice coating and then some after simmering

- A long slow finish, very smooth
Very pleasant whiskey, not as much burn as you would expect with a high alcohol whiskey, a nice lingering after taste and not much burn at all. Very smooth.

- Color
- A light amber
- Nose
- Rather smoky. Wood smoke, like being around a campfire.
- Body
- Medium bodied. A slight burning on the edges of the tongue. Coats the inside of your mouth well before the burn comes.
- Palate
- Peat, lot's of peat and smoke.
- Finish
- Not a particularly long finish, The smokiness tends to remain for a while though.
When taken neat it is quite heavy on the smokiness scale. But a small splash of water tends to mellow things out nicely, producing a very pleasant dram.

- Color
- Warm Honey
- Nose
- A little spicy, hints of caramel, very pleasant.
- Body
- Slightly syrupy texture, coats well. Very smooth, with no burn
- Palate
- Starts with a small vanilla burst and then becomes more butterscotch/milk chocolate. Very consistent.
- Finish
- A very good finish, interesting aftertastes, lingering pear on the back of the tongue.
This is my first try of this whiskey, I bought a bottle based on some of the reviews here. I am very pleasantly surprised and will not hesitate to buy more in the future. This has become my standard fare for regular consumption. I started out as a Jack Daniels fan, but this has encouraged me to expand my horizons. I'm finding that I lean more towards Bourbons than Scotch, and this whiskey is what seems to be pushing me in that direction. Very smooth.
