- Butterscotch, surprisingly vanilla from Euro oak - slightly prickly
- Body
- Full, big, very hot on front of the tongue, yet not to the sinuses or throat
- Palate
- Raisin cake, pleasant cereal maltyness dominates but doesnt overpower
- Finish
- very long hot with pleasant grainy cereal
Outstanding, but certainly not a beginners whisky- take heed of the ABV content- hotness reduced quite a bit with water. Worthy of Glenfarclas' high reputation.
