Palate: Light spice, butter Toffee, a little grass.
Finish: Short and sweet, Didn't stick around long.

Took a bottle of this to a party, had a lotta comments and most of them were the way I felt, OK BUT NOT GREAT, IT SEEMED LIKE IT NEEDED SOMETHING. I liked the bottle but I wouldn't by another..O WELL.

Color: White Wine
Nose: Smoke, peat and more Smoke and then Seaweed also the smell of the sea coast after a storm.
Body: Full Rich and oily.
Palate: This ones not easy, Smoked Fish, toffee a little Barley and sweet Spice. also the taste of buttered veggies.
Finish: Long, Sweet Smoky, very Good

This one suprised me, Most comments were average, middle of the road, but I found it different. A lot of flavors and they changed often. First taste a lotta smoke and then the sea came in then Smoked kippers Salt. sweet candy, barley grass and then ten minutes later sweet, salt, floral. This one was very complex for me but I did like it alot but then I love the Islands. (Especially ISLAY.)

Body: Full, Syrupy
Palate: Sherry, Buttery, Cloves other spices a little bit of honey.
Finish: Medium Long, with a Taste of Oak, Also a Sweet after taste almost like Sugar.

This is my first Macallan and It does have a strong Sherry Taste. Also very Smooth and Soft. It is a very good whisky and it's quite expensive. A very nice Dram but not very interesting.

Nose: A Little Wood some Sherry and the smell of Leather, like a Baseball Mitt.
Body: Medium to Full
Palate: Fruit, Spice and Sherry, Lightly coats your mouth and has a very warm feel.
Finish: Medium Long and a light taste of Chocolate.

Not to expensive, But for the money this is a Very Good Whiskey. Put this in a liquor cabinet and I'd bet it's one of the first ones to empty.

Laphroaig 10 Year Old

Review by: Eddie
Color: Golden Amber
Nose: Heavy Medicinal, like walking into an Emergency Room. Then Sea weed, Smoke and Peat, I'am not talking a hint of this or a hint of that, These aromas knock you on your ASS.
Body: Medium on the Thin Side.
Palate: Sweet, Smoke, Salt and Peat, The taste of sea water like when you just swam in the ocean.
Finish: Medium, Soft, sweet Like those Butterscotch hard candies of years gone bye.

This was the 43% ABV... From medicinal to candy this one was good. One of the big boys, This one earns the title of one of the STRONGEST Tasting Single Malts Around. (My Wife loved the after taste of this one).
