Lots of malt, cream cracker, raw honey, raisin sweetness, nutty oil, plywood/new furniture made from compress wood.
    Body
    Medium body. Fresh entry.
    Palate
Sweet and sour, like eating orange and lemon together. Wood. Very mild smoke and peat at the background. Turns rather bitter, like chewing on fresh orange peel.
    Finish
Almost like a scented candle. Mild smoke, but more like steam fused with honey and maybe a bit of peat? Constantly felt like sticking an orange peel in the nose, bitter finish. Doesn't last very long but after the bitterness is gone, there's a faint barley sweetness.

It felt like chewing through a Mandarin orange dipped in honey together with the skin. Sweet first, bitter later. Extremely malty, and the Sherry cask is obvious. Smoke and peat is overshadowed by the sweetness. Not my type of scotch but even then it's interesting enough for me to enjoy it.

    Color
    White wine, pale green tea
    Nose
Peat, sweet citrus. Pan fry pineapple with pork. BBQ fish smoke. Iodine, pine tar, salt. Water adds more brine and citrus.
    Body
    Full and oily.
    Palate
Peat attack. Licking wooden bench in the park during a rain. Fresh cut grass, earthy. Pepper, and something sweet.
    Finish
Peat smoke, mild 2nd hand tobacco smoke, nuts (can't tell which one, just nutty), burnt wood/paper boxes, lemon peel? Long and dry after smoke vanishes

Felt like roasting marshmellow with peat, twigs, and coconut shell, with sea breeze blowing in your face. Chokingly smoky even for a smoker if you don't sip it slowly. Tasted older than ten year if you ask me.

Ripe apple, chocolate, fresh leather(?), sweet toffee. Let it open up a little and there's hints of citrus and maybe white coffee.
    Body
Oily, creamy, very very mouth watering.
    Palate
Pepper and spice, bitter sweet wood, smoky, somewhat peaty. Water adds more smoke.
    Finish
Bitter, dry, lots of wood, smoke, malty, warm. Last for a while, after the bitterness went away, there's a faint barley sugar sweetness that last for minutes.

Unexpectedly good, especially for the price. Although not "silky", but it's smooth enough that the "Highland Cream" name is well justified. Extremely mouth watering, saliva won't stop flowing when you roll it around in your mouth. A few drops of water helps, but drowns easily if added more than a few drops. Anyone who likes spicy and smoky scotch should give this a try.
