- Color
- Dark sherry tinged amber
- Nose
- Medium smoke and slightly sweet-almost a peaty Crown Royal
- Body
- Tried a few drams with a friend. Some with a few drops and others neat. Finished most of the bottle and every dram tasted different. Even 2 drams neat one ater the other tasted different. Some were smooth and peaty with a clean finish ohters were harsh and a bitter finish. Very odd experience.
- Palate
- smoke mixed with sweet slight spice tatses. Very drinkable. Went and bought another for the library.
- Finish
- With water-finished smooth and sweet. Straight finished harsh and bitter. Didn't linger long either way. No smoke 'burps' later.
Complex and Frustrating
