Seeing as the last reviewer (Greg Logan) gave this a positive review, but (I think ) accidentally gave it a score of 50, I felt it only fair to average it out with a score of 99 to mroe accurately reflect the consensus

- Color
- Dark orange
- Nose
- Slight sweet smoke, the zest of an orange lingers in the air as grandma makes maramalade.
- Body
- Oily and chewy
- Palate
- Too much orange and chocolate (that of a jaffa), slightly too sweet... like the end of a bag of jaffas you've eaten all in one sitting
- Finish
- Long, unfortunately.
If you like jaffas (an orange flavoured chocolate candy) then you'll like this... toherwise far too sweet and full of orange zest.

- Soft gold
- Nose
- A cold winter's night, the soft smoke slowly rising up off the fire to dance with the thick rolling fog entering through an open window. Fruit jam being made in the kitchen nearby.
- Body
- Viscous and slightly oily
- Palate
- The open window carries in the soft salty sea-air. Smooth honey and subtle fruit flavours as you add some oak to the fire.
- Finish
- Long and changing. The smoke clears as the open window delivers a breath of fresh air allowing you to savour the warm cocoa with cloves and cinnamon.
Fog rolling in through an open window on a cold winter's night as you ponder by the open fire.

- Color
- Amber sunset veiled by clouds over a field of long grass
- Nose
- softly spoken scents, with the creamy off the top of a pint of Guinness, mild peat and the smooth sweetnes of expensive hand soap
- Body
- So smooth, soft and sweet you can caress it in your mouth like a long lost lover on a cold winter's night, without worrying about being burned. The age gives it a wonderful softness like your lover's silky freshly conditioned hair running through your fingers.
- Palate
- Buttery puff pastry wrapped around a subtle sausage roll with hints of peat and creamy toffee. Perfectly rounded and yet no flavours are truncated. You can still taste the rising thrill of spice, subtle smooth apple and oak. Not sweet, a perfectly balanced savoury entry
- Finish
- mildly spiced and yet sweet, smooth and lingering, warming like a soft kiss goodbye from a lover going away on holidays, but with promises of a long future together
Perfectly balanced, one of Bowmore's best and worth the extra over their 10 year old.
