Took a bottle of this to a party, had a lotta comments and most of them were the way I felt, OK BUT NOT GREAT, IT SEEMED LIKE IT NEEDED SOMETHING. I liked the bottle but I wouldn't by another..O WELL.

Reasonably tasty. A winter malt. Smooth going down, but not that distinctive.

Nose: malted cereal rides on a bed of semi-sweet fruit and citrus, hints of peat.
Body: The body is full, mouth filling and smooth.
Palate: On the palate the whisky starts with cooked fruits then gets spicy with strong drier oak notes then some peat. Maybe a wisp of smoke with the peat.

Definitely a good whisky. It has plenty of flavor but doesn't overpower the palate.

A nice whiskey indeed. It has enough flavour to be interesting, and is strong enough to represent a commanding drink. A fine choice for fireside contemplation.

Very highly recommended! Very strong finish and great aftertaste.

Body: Smooth and wet. Thin.
Palate: Spicy. Malt, oak. Complex and mature.

This is a very good and easy scotch, but not too easy. It is very complex and mature, and yields surprising amounts of spice.

Body: Medium viscosity. Medium bodied.
Palate: Dark Chocolate. Bitter. Gengle.
Finish: Flavour fades to nothing, then finishes with high flavour notes.
I like this scotch very much!
