Johnnie Walker Green Label is blended only from single malts which include its four signature malts Talisker, Cragganmore, Linkwood, and Caol Ila. The Johnnie Walker masters of blending concentrate on the keynote flavors in these malts to create the distinctive taste of Green Label.

- Color
- gold/yellow
- Nose
- Distinct floral smell going on, earth, smoke, oak, buckwheat honey, old pear, raisins, some salt water. After a few sips, I could detect some vanilla and milk chocolate in the smell (which was not really expected).
- Body
- Aggressive, yet sticky and syrupy. Medium to full bodied with a nice presence.
- Palate
- Sea salt, earth and peat, a bit of smoke and oak are the dominant flavors. Maybe some pepper here too. The malty sweetness of the nose are much more hidden here as well as the floral notes, but still present.
- Finish
- Long lasting dry wood like finish. Oak, earth/peat.
This is my first review. I'm a good beer taster and wanted to get my malt buds to another level. So here I am, trying to make decent reviews of whisky. For this one, I'll stick with the mean, since I think it's a very enjoyable whisky but I'm not knowledgeable enough to give a precise rating the way I can do it with beer. I'm 20 (in Canada, don't worry) and hope to be one day a fine whisky taster.

- Color
- Toffee caramel.
- Nose
- Fruity (pears), almondy, peppery.
- Body
- Medium body.
- Palate
- Peppery vanilla (the Talisker), sweet and fruity menthol (the Cragganmore), flowery violet (the Linkwood), smokey (the Caol Ila).
- Finish
- Consistent with 15 years, smooth.
This is a very good blend, but with little surprise - smooth, silky, and tasty, but not as good a value as the 12 year Black Label.

- Rich Amber
- Nose
- Lovely, gentle floral and fruity aroma, with soft smoke and seaside smells - nothing over-bearing or unruly.
- Body
- Medium bodied with plenty of warmth.
- Palate
- Not as sweet as the nose might suggest. And excellent balance of fruit, floral notes, gentle smoke and salt.
- Finish
- Warm and drying, woody with slight sea-salt and smoke.
The first blended malt I've had in many years and I must say I'm quite impressed. A beautifully balanced and very drinkable whisky. Ideal pre-dinner dram.

- Color
- Light copper.
- Nose
- Oak, a bit smoky. Interestingly simple.
- Body
- Medium-thick legs, relatively full bodied.
- Palate
- Nice oak wood, bit of nuts and cinnamon, a bit fruity (grapefruit and peach). Very warming.
- Finish
- Long and pleasant dominated by wood. Hot.
Great blend indeed. Not so old to be too complex yet, but exceptional and pleasant. Pretty fancy though.

- Color
- Deep straw,
- Nose
- Ethanol, oak, faint citrus, some peat
- Body
- Fiery yet full mouth-feel
- Palate
- Initial fire fades to peat and slight smoke, some sweetness, but mostly a dry shot.
- Finish
- Long peaty and warm. A head full of vapor and very light smoke.
A very full mouth feel, warm and well-rounded. Nice smoke and peat without being medicinal or tasting like smokehouse almonds. A pleasant blend with a complex taste that develops nicely on the palate.
