Jameson is carefully distilled 3 times from the finest barley and crystal clear water and matured for long years in oak casks to produce an exceptionally smooth whiskey.

- Nose
- Pie crust, mild Citrus, Vanilla 29/33
- Body
- Medium bodied. Not leggy.
- Palate
- Astringent, lemon, white pepper. Not as sweet as the nose predicted. Salt, definitely a grain whisky, allspice. Not altogether great. It needs some character. 22/30
- Finish
- Sweet, but a bit bitter and a bit harsh. Not bad for Irish at this age. I prefer this to the white labeled Bushmills. The presence of the grains give this an almost bourbon finish. This is really tasty after the initial 2 or 3 sips. 28/20
I used to drink this in clubs, back when I was drowning it in Guinness and Bailey's (that's an Irish Car Bomb). Now tasting in is a brand new experience. It brings ouit the Irish in me. Thats for sure. I liked it, except that the palate is lame. all of teh enjoyment is in the nose and the finish. That's why its great for shots, I suppose. Don't get down on this Whisky. It very good for its age and the price. !!WHAT er youu lookin' at Pretty Boy??!

Review by AdmTom
- Color
- Straw-colored... very light relative to other whiskies
- Nose
- Typical of blends. Nothing distinctive except for a mild hint of sweetness.
- Body
- Syrup-like, thicker than I expected, but very smooth.
- Palate
- Very sweet, but it's a subtle sweetness, not overwhelming by any means. Also, it's not an artificial sweet. Some whiskies I've tried taste like the distillers just threw some sugar in before they bottled theirs, but Jameson doesn't. Just a pleasant, makes-me-want-more sweetness.
- Finish
- A bit of harshness, but that's to be expected with a cheap (sorry, but it is inexpensive) whisky. There is some alcohol burn after you finish a sip, but with how much I liked the rest of the experience, I'm more than willing to overlook it.

The whiskey that I use for "Irish coffee". Jameson whiskey, hot coffee and wipped cream on the top. My favorite dessert ;)

- very basic smooth irish whiskey without any exceptional taste cutting through.

i think this is the cheapest drinkable whisky i know. totally without attitude, but no disturbing tastes either. i think irish guys accomplished something scotchmen failed with their red label. if you are short on cash, go get one and you wont regret, its cheap but in no means junk whiskey! solid 65 comes from here, good job, Jameson!

I am disapointed with this whiskey, in my opinion it is not worth drinkng at all. In comparison with soft Speyside Aberlour 10yo whisky, Jameson tastes like poor quality alcohol.

Pretty pleasant, doesn't need water, but too sweet for my sipping tastes. Does well as a shot. I'll have to try the older ones.

- Color
- Pale yellow
- Nose
- Flower like smells dominate
- Body
- Very light and smooth
- Palate
- It even has tastes floral in nature. The flavor immediately reminds me of the alcohol in Irish cream. The flavors are faint at best
- Finish
- the heat subsides quickly and finishes clean
Leaves something to be desired. Somewhat light on flavor but it is very easy to drink as a result.
