Jack Daniel's Gentleman Jack

Age: Unspecified
Alcohol: 40% abv.
Region: United States, Tennessee

Crafted from Mr. Jack's own private recipe, Gentleman Jack was the first new whiskey from the Jack Daniel distillery in over 100 years. It is a distinctively smooth, rich whiskey, distilled and aged to perfection by the genuinely good-natured folks at America's oldest ditsillery. But, at the end of the day, what makes Gentleman Jack so unique is actually quite simple: Gentleman Jack is charcoal mellowed twice, once before and once after it is aged in charred oak barrels. The result is an extremely smooth, satisfying taste that you'll surely appreciate. Take a sip. Just one sip. Then you know why Gentleman Jack, Rare Tennessee Whiskey is so special.

Alcohol: 45% abv.
Region: United States, Tennessee
Bottled For: Distillery

Mr. Jack Daniel liked to present his friends with a special gift. The gift was Jack Daniel's whiskey that had to be from a special location in a certain barrel-house which, he knew took on a darker colour and a richer Jack Daniel's taste. He would set the whiskey aside, sign the labels, and keep a small supply for close friends and gift-giving. Today, Mr. Jack Daniel's Master Distiller is hand selected from the same special locations in their barrel-houses that Mr. Jack discovered. Jack Daniel's Master Distiller is an exceptionally smooth whiskey with a deeper Jack Daniel's taste. For all who admire the quality of Jack Daniel's, it is indeed a special gift.

Jack Daniel's Old no7

Style: Bourbon or Tennessee
Age: Unspecified
Alcohol: 40% abv.
Region: United States, Tennessee
Bottled For: Distillery

This rare, sippin' whiskey is made at the Jack Daniel Distillery in Lynchburg, Tennessee, using pure cave spring water and a unique mellowing process perfected by Jack Daniel in 1866. The distinctively pleasing flavour is the reason they'll always stay faithful to the slow, time-honoured methods their founder insisted upon. Tennessee whiskey is similar to bourbon but is different in that it is filtered through maple charcoal in large wooden vats prior to aging. Tennessee whiskey is also not subject to the regulations relating to bourbons, such as the use of new barrels and low level of distilling proof.

Age: Unspecified
Alcohol: 50% abv.
Region: United States, Tennessee
Bottled For: Distillery

Jack Daniel's Silver Select Single Barrel Tennessee Whiskey returns to the simplest days of the distiller's art when whiskey was crafted and sold by the barrel, each with its own individual taste. Each barrel of this select 100 proof (50% abv) whiskey is aged in a unique location within the warehouse where the whiskey's colour and taste mature in extra measure. Because Silver Select is a single barrel whiskey, bottles drawn from individual barrels offer subtle differences in nose, colour and taste. To mark its distinctive character, each bottle is hand-labelled with it's rick and barrel number and it's individual bottling date. It is a single barrel with a singular taste that could only be crafted by the Jack Daniel Distillery.

Jimmy Bedford, Jack Daniel's sixth Master Distiller, has been making whiskey a long time. An official taste-tester and the man who decides which barrels should become Jack Daniel's Single Barrel, he has a gift for detecting the subtle differences a barrel brings to his or her whiskey. Each bottle of Jack Daniel's Single Barrel is hand-labelled with its barrel number, giving whiskey connoisseurs the opportunity to compare the tastes from different barrels. So, when you try Jack Daniel's Single Barrel for the first time, note the barrel number. Try to detect the different nuances - a strong caramel or vanilla presence, perhaps; or maybe the toasted oak flavour or fruit drawn from the barrel wood captures your tastebuds.
