Ten long years in our beachfront warehouse with their soft sea breezes give this fine malt a gentle island flavour. Tall refined stills and generations of tradition coupled with the finest wood create a gentler island malt in keeping with its surroundings.

Isle Of Jura 10 Year Old
Review by Winemaker
- Color
- golden to amber
- Nose
- Lots of orange, tobacco, and leather.
- Body
- Light in body, very smooth. No heat at all and rather polished for a 10 year old.
- Palate
- Everything is indeed delicate like the label says. Slight sweetness, citrus, chocolate, cigar.
- Finish
- Short but pleasant. No bitterness or heat. Very smooth.
This really is a delicate whisky. The complexity is there, but you have to work for it. Still, at this price I will buy it again, especially for summer time sipping.

- Color
- light caramel
- Nose
- (just poured) orange, spice, cloves... (let it sit), oak, vanilla, sweetness
- Body
- thick but light, gentle but for a small bite on the tip of the tongue
- Palate
- fruity, perhaps a hint of chocolate and nutmeg
- Finish
- like a warm hug that is released at just the right time
First impression - it's rich and wholesome. Spend some time with this one. Better than expected. This unique whisky (only one from Jura) has earned its place in my liquor cabinet as I explore the different regions of Scotch single malts.
