First released in 1997, Highland Park immediately found favour with whisky writers and enthusiasts all over the world. It is a perfectly balanced single malt with a toffee sweetness and a mouthwateringly smokey finish.

    Color
    Deep, dark amber
    Nose
Dark maple syrup, walnuts, butterscotch, toffee, coffee…What a nose! Makes your mouth water.
    Body
    Full bodied.
    Palate
This is a delectably smooth approach to malt. Rich, smooth, mellow, full and savoury, the nose follows through nicely. Hot and spicy and lengthy.
    Finish
The finish will go on 20-30 seconds undetered.

Seeking something scrumptious? Indulge yourself with a gorgeous bottle of this fine Scotch.

    Color
    Medium dark amber
    Nose
Complex, honey, tar, heather, a gentle metallic smoke
    Body
Oily, full-bodied, quite cool on the tongue
    Palate
Gently smoked honeycomb, subtle Cuban tobacco, flowers and leather bring up the rear, incredibly complex - like an elder blend. Adding 2 drops of water introduces toffee, licorice, and gentle pepper.
    Finish
Unbelievably smooth, medium warm, upper-medium length - add a couple drops of water if you desire to increase warmth and length without introducing any acidity (though you do sacrifice some creamy/oily mouthfeel).

The most balanced and flavor-rich single malt I've had (of over 70 tasted to date). I cannot find a flaw in this scotch.

    Color
    Dark Gold
    Nose
Fruit and Flowers, Pineapple, Toffee, Citrus. A little Smoke and Spicey.
    Body
    Medium and a Little Syrupy.
    Palate
Citrus, Toffee a little Smoky and a slight Burn but in a Nice Way.
    Finish
Medium Long, a lot of Fruit and a little Dry and Spicy.

A very nice Dram, Easy to Drink and very Relaxing, Not as Soft as the speyside single Malts but not as strong as Islay, Just GOOD..
