This whisky has been matured in American white oak casks before being ‘finished’ in a specially selected port pipe. With its deep, rich texture and long aftertaste, it’s perfect for topping off a good meal.

Nose: Mild alcohol, Spice, Cinamon, Wood, Vanilla
Body: Thin, Hot, Medum body, Powerful flavours, Dry
Palate: Wood, Smoke, Plum, Peat comes out with water
Finish: Long and spicy, Wood, Tapers slowly to smoke. Lots of peat with water. Ends sour.

A surprising amount of flavours for such a young bottle at a medium strength. The finish ends on a sour note which I don't like so much, but it's a small price to pay for a lovely experience.
