    Flowery
    Body
    Semi viscous
    Palate
    A hint of vomit. Peat.
    Finish
Not very mellow; bit of a burn.

Cheap for a single malt 12 year, but better tasting blendeds are more value.

    Color
Straw with a bit of honey
    Nose
Strong honey notes. Hint of sweet white wine.
    Body
Medium to full body. Somewhat oily in a pleasant way.
    Palate
Extremely sweet, and seems to get sweeter after the first few pours. Dominant honey flavor, along with some melon. White wine taste from the casks is noticeable. Almost no trace of peat or smoke.
    Finish
Fairly short. The honey flavor lasts a little while, but there is absolutely no warming.

I think this whisky is best for beginners. It is extremely approachable and the flavors are pleasant, albeit a bit boring. The sweetness seems to be overpowering when you are on your third or fourth pour. I'll probably use the rest of the bottle to introduce friends to whisky. I would advise against using it in a mixer in sweet scotch drinks like a rusty nail because it is so sweet.

    Color
A pale straw with a slight golden shimmer.
    Nose
Extremely floral. Prominent notes of honey.
    Body
Definitely not watery, but not what I would call thick or full-bodied. A pleasantly flowing texture which covers the mouth nicely.
    Palate
Sweet. Very, very sweet. Only the slightest, most microscopic bit of smokiness was to be found on this one, and that only after a discerning mid-palate evaluation. Honey is dominant.
    Finish
Perhaps a bit too smooth. There is no pleasant warming, nor is there any invigorating tingling to be found in this whisky.

From a historical perspective and after reading diligently on the subject, this seems to be a good example of the Speyside region (coming from a Scotch whisky beginner). Light, fruity, floral, very easy. I would recommend this whisky to anyone interested in getting their first taste. Very introductory in all aspects, though not unpleasant. Glen Moray 12 Year is light, fun entry which is approachable to even the most novice of whisky drinkers.
