- Color
- Pale caramel
- Nose
- Very mellow wood , floral and candy notes.
- Body
- Light bodied. Gentle on the palate. Slightly sweet.
- Palate
- Nothing especially overwhelming. Just a good, all-purpose blend.
- Finish
- A surprisingly warm, mellow and creamy finish.
This is by far the smoothest whisky I've ever enjoyed.

OK. A very good mixing whiskey. I would share it with friends.

Crown Royal is CANADIAN whiskey and the best of the lot. It isn't supposed to taste like bourbon or scotch. It is simple, elegant, and comfortable.

- Slightly fruited and nutty, sweet and sharp

A very good mixer, but not a good stand alone drink.

- Color
- carmel amber
- Nose
- honey, carmel, alcohol, pineapple.
- Body
- light and creamy
- Palate
- sweet syrup, slightly pungent rye taste, malty. Candy-like
- Finish
- warm and sweet, the malty grain gradually melts away leaving the sweetness and warmth
A solid example of a Canadian whisky. It's worth keeping some around.

- Color
- Desert Sand
- Nose
- Very light, fruity
- Body
- Light
- Palate
- Not too much there, but like mandarin oranges.
- Finish
- Not bad, lasting taste of a dull fruit.
Crown is not the best of whiskies but is my favorite Canadian. It is certainly a perfect compliment to a soda (try with root beer!), but not much on its own. To me, it is a good whisky for the price paid. My grandfather's favorite.

- Color
- rich amber
- Nose
- slightly toasted and dried fruity with a hint of solvent
- Body
- watery, less bodied and slightly vaporous
- Palate
- salted honey malt, like brine with honey and solvents
- Finish
- warm finish decaying into a flavour resembling the fragrance of an old carpet in a saloon bar
clearly a better choice than drinking turps, but not bringing any delicate or unusual flavours or aromas. It is a blend, and seems to be a one size fits all designed to turn coke into an alcoholic beverage.
