An elegant, sophisticated Speyside with the most complex aroma of any malt. Astonishingly fragrant with sweetish notes and a smoky maltiness on the finish.

- Body

A very pleasant whisky. This should be drank outside during summer, and at Christmas. It makes me hungry for fruit pie and icecream.

- Nose
- Vanilla pudding, Floral
- Body
- Full bodied. Soft and warm.
- Palate
- Creamy, Vanilla, Rice or Tapioca pudding. Banana, Spice.
- Finish
- Cool and consistent.
The nose palate and finish of this whisky are very consistent with eachother. Throughout the drinking experience there is omnipresent vanilla pudding and a slightly spicy kick. I drank this full strength and didn't experience any burn. It's simply delicious.

- Color
- golden amber
- Nose
- slightly fragrant and old woody, mildly peaty
- Body
- smooth, not thick slightly gritty
- Palate
- sweet and salty peat, with an overtone of honey
- Finish
- a slow build of flavours, subtle changes in layers of salt, old wood, slightly husky and then honey
definitely a nice whiskey. not as bold as many, not without its edge but not aggressive in its clout. A good sipping whiskey likely to please most palates.

- Color
- Pale, almost yellow.
- Nose
- A pleasant burn, mostly a smoke and wood smell with a faint wisp of fruit.
- Body
- Thin, but with a lasting finish.
- Palate
- The most lasting taste is wood, some smoke as well.
- Finish
- Brilliant finish, lighter than most.
This would be a nice one to introduce new whiskey drinkers to, a bit thin for my tastes.

- Color
- A honey brown.
- Nose
- Immediate grape or fruit scent followed by a floral garden.
- Body
- A very smooth, almost too-light watery mouthfeel. Not too warming.
- Palate
- Lighter peat and a spice that I can't put my finger on, but overall, it's very light. Something seems to be lacking.
- Finish
- Not as warming as some of the greats, but that's probably because there isn't enough taste to linger.
I would recommend this one to someone who's just starting out and is still hesitant to try something more full-bodied. It's worth a taste, but I won't be buying it again, even at its lower price.

- Nose
- Very pretty flowers with vanilla and herbs
- Body
- weight because of hard water
- Palate
- honey and vanilla, clean, and not as thin as others claim it to be.
- Finish
- long and smokey
I like this whisky it's very speyside-like in it's approach and has a nice smooth honey and vanilla character.

- Color
- Yellow gold.
- Nose
- Sweet flowers and fruit, Scapa 14-like. Honey.
- Body
- Thin, light, silky smooth.
- Palate
- Very sweet fruit salad in whipped cream with a vase of flowers nearby, a pleasant honey and malty ale with a hint of licorice too.
- Finish
- Relatively cool and medium short, but a nice intro of prickly pepper after the fruit and flower salad gives this a nice flavor-faceted finish.
It may be best to try this one, and then judge it a year later to appreciate the complexity of the taste and finish. Reminds me of JW Gold blend - a thin, very silky, sweet, floral good Speyside time.

- Color
- The color is a pale, translucent gold.
- Nose
- Superb nose! Fruity, fruity, fruity! Exotic fruit essences, candied malt and some spritziness (iodine) and subtle smokiness.
- Body
- This is a medium-bodied malt.
- Palate
- The mouth reflects the nose. Fruity and not overly fat, but smooth. Definitely spicy on the back-end and slightly oaky.
- Finish
- Length is not its strength.
"...the most complex aroma of any malt." (NOT!)

- Color
- Light gold
- Nose
- Lovely: peppery and fruity
- Body
- fairly thin, light
- Palate
- Corkboard and leather, pipe tobacco
- Finish
- Wood and tobacco coming on late, salt lingering. Finish is modest in length.
This has become a favorite to have on hand. I find it never demanding, but there is enough subtlety there to keep things interesting.

- Color
- golden to amber
- Nose
- Definite American oak presence, but then there are some distinctive flor notes as in a sherry or oxidized wine. After some time all of this integrates very nicely into apple pie with vanilla ice cream.
- Body
- Light to medium body, very smooth
- Palate
- More subtle than the nose, but consistent with it: vanilla, slight sweetness, I'm stealing the rock sugar descriptor here because it totally fits.
- Finish
- Not incredibly long, but pleasant, slight bitterness at the tail end
I agree with many of the comments below. This is a smooth and delightful whisky. Not terribly complex, but tasty nonetheless. It goes down almost too easy! I enjoy it very much.

- Color
- Straw
- Nose
- Fragrant with honey, salt, and some floral notes
- Body
- Very thin but not watery...just not much viscosity. Very light mouth feel.
- Palate
- Sugary...flavor goes straight to the roof of my mouth. Have to resist urge to gulp it down. Very tasty but almost too light.
- Finish
- Short, dry finish, but pleasant taste. No warming either. Satisfying but it's gone too quickly.
Finally got to try it...enjoyable but didn't blow me away
