Very forward and bullishly dry for its age, and more intense than the standard Cragganmore bottling. ItÂ’s rare for a whisky this young to be so complex.

Drank straight it was quite well done with not much alcohol "heat". With a few drops of water it seemed to lose it's balance but for sure was entirely smooth tasting. I'm not sure it's worth the price when compared to similar Speyside whiskeys. The 12 year old standard issue is a much better whiskey.

- Very Long burn, then hot peat
A very strong whisky. Full strength it is sharp and peppery. Watered it is less sharp and pepper but with more peat. I found it difficult on the palate. Not entirely well balanced.
