- Bright sunshine
- Nose
- Apple cider, sugar cookies, ripe pears and lemonade.
- Body
- Light to medium body, clean and crisp.
- Palate
- Buttery, spicy, warm and tingly. Extremely well balanced between spiciness and malty sweetness. Maybe a faint touch of brine as well.
- Finish
- Medium to long finish, ends in wave after wave of spicy sweetness. I love this!
This whisky has something in it for everyone, and will be a staple in my collection from now on. It's so different from my usual suspects (Islays), but also very different from the sherry monsters. I want another glass!
