- Color
- Brass.
- Nose
- Muted and rough. Peat, old leather, earth, young.
- Body
- Slow in coming, full and clean.
- Palate
- Strong and short. Peat, peppery, green, some caramel, grassy and floral.
- Finish
- A sudden burst of peaty alcohol then a fast fade to mellow floral notes
Not quite the peat monster you would expect neat. The flavours and finish last longer and are more satisfying with watering. Clean and understated. Lovely.

- Nose
- Cool, Alcohol, Malt tones, Neutral
- Body
- Medium thin mouth feel
- Palate
- Strong fast peat right up front. Spicy, sweet and malty. Opens up with water revealing grassy notes.
- Finish
- Medium-long. Spicy peat consistent til the end.
The name says it all. This is a very respectable peat monster from an innovative distillery.

- Nose
- Peat, Hay, Chocolate, Bacon, Leather, Tropical Fruit. Changes alot in the glass with time and water.
- Body
- Thick and creamy.
- Palate
- Soft earthy peat, mocha, a hint of pine, banana, pinapple
- Finish
- Long, sweet, and very smooth.
No offense but the other reviews rated this malt far too low. This is one of the most complex scotches in its price range. Its worth twice what they charge, imho.
