Bowmore Tempest
Review by Anonymous
- Color
- Dark caramel
- Nose
- Wet Cardboard, smoke, toffee and peat
- Body
- Full and balanced, gorgeous mouth feel
- Palate
- Lovely peat and smoke with wood, sea air and hints of caramel
- Finish
- Almost a perfect balance, fades away like a sunset
Tempest is a gorgeous color, and is a real treat for the senses. From a rich and complex nose to a smooth finish, the overwhelming characteristic of this whiskey for me is balance in texture, taste and experience. And it does all that without compromising a strong peaty Islay character.
