In recent years Black Bottle has finally returned thanks to the efforts of the Graham family and several master blenders. Both Gordon Graham, the last Graham to work for Black Bottle, and whisky writers agree that the current taste is the closest possible to the dram first blended over 100 years ago.

- Color
- Pale amber is good - paler than most blended standard stuff
- Nose
- Heather! Whiff of peat as well.
- Body
- Light-to-medium. A very pleasant tipple!
- Palate
- Heather is even more prevalent in taste than it is in the nose.
- Finish
- Long-ish and nicely floural.
Lovely! You could pass this off as a single malt to many whisky drinkers (if decanted) and get away with it.

- Color
- Light amber
- Nose
- Medium Peat, slightly medicinal, slight citrus candy
- Body
- medium body
- Palate
- Nice combination of peat, definitely Islay but unique in itself
- Finish
- Cozy comfy and smoke sets in and lingers
Great blended whisky, takes out the heavy peat and of a couple of Islay whisky and transforms it to a truly affordable and enjoyable dram
