Ardbeg Supernova 2010 Release
Review by Pick
- Color
- Pale smoky amber
- Nose
- Robust but not overwhelming Peat smoke, moist earth, mossy forest in summer and a hint of a medicinal quality. An ever so slight sweet fruitiness develops over time (30-45 minutes). Peat smoke perseveres throughout as the dominant note.
- Body
- Thick, muscular and semi-oily
- Finish
- Extremely warm (somewhat hot-ish), smokey, peppery, and voluptuous... seems to go on forever, you really get your money's worth out of this finish. I think my wife thinks I picked up smoking, and the finish may be with me until summer...
